"I didn't choose yoga; yoga chose me," Sarah Jenkins begins. Ten years ago, Sarah was working a high-stress corporate job in the city. She was burnt out, experiencing chronic back pain, and felt completely disconnected from herself. Her first yoga class was purely a physical quest to fix her back, but she quickly discovered it fixed much more than that.
The Turning Point
After two years of practicing everyday, Sarah decided to take a leap of faith. She quit her job and traveled to India for a 200-hour Teacher Training Course. "It was the hardest and most rewarding thing I've ever done. I had to unlearn everything I thought I knew about success."
Teaching at Zenith
Sarah joined Zenith Yoga five years ago and has since trained over 500 students. For her, teaching is about creating a space where people feel safe to be vulnerable. "My goal isn't just to teach you a pose; it's to help you find the strength and peace you already have inside you."
